The God's Consideration
Eun Tak looked at the weird man weirdly; the way he was acting was weird, but the way he looked was weirder.
“Are you an actor? The drama station is over there…”
“You dream… It seems you have achieved it.”
The Goblin had just noticed the employee ID hanging on Eun Tak’s neck.
“After all this time, you’re still making me proud.”
“Um… Thank you? But why did you hug me? And why do you keep talking to me as if we are close?”
The reason Eun Tak could not remember him was the gods' consideration, and it was so that she could live in peace. The Goblin smiled sadly with a happy heart.
“It’s nice seeing you live peacefully. That’s all I need.”
“What kind of acting is this? The drama station is not this station. You need to go through the connecting bridge to the next building.”
Eun Tak kept feeling weird emotions inside of her, and so she tried to get away from the man’s presence.
“How did you get in here? Do you even have an ID?”
“Someone called me.”
He was a weird man. She felt… So… Eun Tak turned around and left through the door.

There were more people the Goblin had to see. People who could not remember him. He had gone to meet Duk Hwa and Chairman Kim, but both looked at him with such weirdness, the Goblin left after a while. Next, he went to find Sunny’s chicken shop. After watching his sister for a long time, he found the grim reaper’s tea shop.
At the place not visible in human’s eyes, the Goblin looked inside the teashop for a long time. The grim reaper was cleaning the teapots and cups. Yeo would have forgotten all about him too; they were long enemies and friends. It was better that he had forgotten all about it.
The two men caught each other’s eyes.
“What a disgusting looking hat he's wearing. Still.”
The memories he could remember but the grim reaper could not. It was like the first time they had met. The grim reaper’s eyes widened in surprise.
“Are you the Goblin who, in rumours, went back to nothing?”
“I don’t know. My rumours never seem to be telling the truth.”
“I thought you had returned to the winds and rain. I mean, you wouldn’t have turned into the word, nothing.”
He did remember.
The Goblin still lived in the grim reaper’s memory,
No one had remembered him; it was as if he had died. As if he had not been born at all. The Goblin had tried to be glad that the gods had erased everyone’s memories. He had tried to not hate the gods' consideration. They wouldn’t be able to live happily if the memory was still intact in their heads, but still, the Goblin was so stupidly glad that the grim reaper could remember him.
This had been another consideration from the gods. The tea shop door got opened by the Goblin for the first time in a while.
“How did you come back?”
“A, summoned me.”
The Goblin smiled widely; the grim reaper’s welcoming was very warm.
“I know it shouldn’t be, but it’s nice to be welcomed back.”
Tears fell down the grim reaper’s face, as he told the Goblin things he had not been able to before.
“I know I’m very late… 9 years late… 900 years late… Forgive me for saying this so late. Forgive me for not being able to save my lover, my queen, my soldier, you. Forgive me for receiving so much love but not being able to give any back.”
It was an apology that was 9 years, 900 years late, but the Goblin didn’t mind. It had been something he didn’t imagine he would be able to hear, but at least he did now. Joong Heon Park had been killed; all was over. The Goblin had to accept the fact that Yeo was the attacker but at the same time the victim as well. When the Goblin was at the place neither night nor day, the grim reaper had to have all the memories by himself. That was enough; the Goblin nodded at the grim reaper.

Snow covered the trees outside. Eun Tak gave out a sign to her staff while looking outside the window at the white scenery. The broadcast was ending, and it was time for the DJ to finish the programme for today. The DJ’s soft voice came through the speakers.
“The days are still very cold. It is 22 degrees celsius outside. I will give you the last song for today. Don’t get sick everyone.”
A calm song came out through the speakers, but the room outside the radio booth was frozen in shock. A snow covered 22 degrees celsius day; that was not possible. The radio writer had called in sick today, and Eun Tak had written the script instead. She crumpled up her hair in anguish.
After the day she had met the weird man on the rooftop, all she could do was think about him. The long hair, the sad eyes… She couldn’t forget a single thing about him. Eun Tak tried to push the man out of her mind, but the man stood firmly inside her heart.
A message came from one of the staff; the chief producer was coming to the booth right at that moment. The room turned into chaos. With a bang, the door flew open and the Chief Producer’s angry voice filled the room.
“22 degrees celsius?! The days are still very cold?! Don’t get sick everyone! Do you think this makes sense?!”
“I’m sorry.”
“Are you dating someone? Are you in your spring days? Are flowers blooming outside? Have you gone crazy?”
Eun Tak apologised again and again, blaming the weird man inside her head, when one of the staff shook her phone in the air and jumped around in delight.
“Look at this, Eun Tak! I was going through Instagram and the temperature outside our broadcasting station is exactly 22 degrees celsius! It’s winter, but there are flowers covering the entire city! What in the world is this!”
It was abnormal weather that had not happened in 9 years. A miracle in other words. Eun Tak quickly wore her coat and rushed outside.
